It's easy to dismiss the ref. 5711 as just another "hype watch." I sure have. Last year, when I went to that Phillips auction, I was left ogling at it behind a glass link case, like it was some exhibit at the Museum of Natural History. It's not – it's just a watch, link and one of 170 just like link it.
